I spent three months making a cat-themed chess set as a gift - all pieces were hand sculpted from clay, hand painted and varnished as well.
As the pieces were not the traditional designs, I illustrated a booklet to go alongside this to show what each piece was. The box and board were hand painted.
This was my first attempt at creating a 3D game, and I am very happy with the outcome!
